to keith lordan remember swooping home to charlestown on weekends? It’s been a long time , you old Bogue rat. Pete Mitchell
85-87, I was in Cherry Point bussed to Bogue Field every morning. Memory has faded as for names. I remember our Gunner was from Jersey (short with a strong accent). Heavy Junker
I was fap over from Military Police from Cherry Point, Spent a many a day on the gate and the MP Quarters.
I served at Bogue Field from 1985 to 1987. Was a green boot then, PFC and LCPL. Was in aircraft recovery section MABS 14. Gunner Runner was our OIC. MSGT Lagassa was the NCOIC. I remember a lot of the guys that locked me onto the 7011 MOS: CPL Barnhouse, Cpl Cheesum, Cpl worthy, Sgt Brittingham, Sgt English, Cpl Cook, Lcl Ray, Lcpl Adkins, and so many others, Ssgt Fisher, Ssgt Acosta, and more. I loved being a Bogue Rat. It was my best duty in the Corps. Really hated going from a MABS to a Support Squadron. Gentlemen, it was my true pleasure to serve with you all. Semper Fedelis.
