‘271 Marines ‘break backs’ to replace flight line

Some of you may have done this before! Another matting project underway at MCALF Bogue to improve FOD prevention and convert the simulated LHA into an LHD. I started planning the conversion in 2008 and I just missed the execution as I retire this month. You can check out the full article here.   1. I remember when Lakehurst sent the kit to replace a torn mat. Because the skid coating was on the wrong side I had to show you that you needed to put it in upside down.
